California, Hawaii, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Mass etc. residents: Every good FFL kit will tell you ATF and state regs make it a little tougher to get a license in the "liberal" states. But what they don't tell you is that some of the most successful dealers also are there! Here is why: 1. What you lose in sales of semi auto rifles and other silly regs (collapsible stocks) in your state, you make up for in population density. 2. It is perfectly legal, once you're an FFL, to stock ANY weapon in these states, as long as you sell them to LE or customers in other states, via the internet part of your business. 3. Some of the biggest LE purchasers also are in those states. If you are in one of these states, you get a special insert in your guide, but the above is the short version of what it says!
